COLUMBIA, S.C. (WACH) — On Thursday, new leader of the Freedom Caucus Rep. Jordan Pace pushed back on reporters who asked about former caucus leader Rep. RJ May.
Rep. May was noticeably absent from the introductory news conference.
“Obviously, there are several members that aren’t here for various reasons,” said Rep. Pace about May’s absence.
When pressed about if May is still a member of the caucus, Rep. Pace simply said “he’s a current member of the House.”
According to Federal documents, May has been under the microscope after Federal Agents raided his Lexington County home over the summer, seizing more than two dozen electronic devices.
